TWEEN READS BOOK CLUB!
Who: Ages 8 to 13 When: Mondays from 3:30 pm to 5:15 pm Where: Library Youth & Children's Dept. What: Weekly Tween Book Club with discussions of selected readings from the Book of the Month
Who: Children Birth - 5 years (Kindergarten age) When: Year Round Where: McCreary County Public Library Children's Dept. What: The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless! Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to have 1,000 books (yes, you can repeat books) before your precious little one starts kindergarten. Does it sound hard? Not really...if you think about it. If you read just 1 book a night, you will have read about 365 books in a year. Contact the library for more information and help getting started! Monthly Programs in the Youth & Children's Dept.
