Some of the McCreary County Public Library staff attended the 2026 Kentucky Public Library Association Conference in Somerset, KY, this week. Attending the conference was made possible through funding from the 2026 Conferences Grant from the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Library staff members gained valuable information that we will apply to continue moving the library forward. Holly Daugherty, Youth Services Librarian, presented a session at the conference and she co-hosted a round table session on programming. We were all very excited for the opportunity!
