McCreary County Public Library Launches New Website

The McCreary County Public Library is excited to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website—a fresh, modern platform created to better serve our community.

The new site features an updated brand and logo that reflect the library’s commitment to growth, learning, and connection. With a clean design and intuitive navigation, visitors can now find what they need faster and easier than ever before. From accessing digital resources and eBooks to exploring programs, events, and services, the improved layout puts the library’s offerings right at your fingertips.

Accessibility was a top priority in this redesign. The site meets current web accessibility standards, ensuring that all users—including those with visual, hearing, or mobility challenges—can navigate and enjoy the library’s resources without barriers.

“We wanted our website to truly reflect what the library stands for: openness, community, and access for everyone,” said Grady Wilson. “This new design helps us connect with patrons in a way that’s both user-friendly and inclusive.”

The new site is also mobile-responsive, making it easy to browse on any device, whether you’re at home, at work, or on the go.

This project was made possible through the 2025 Website Development Grant from the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives (KDLA) and the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
