Item Requests

The library continually expands its collection of books, DVDs, and other materials. If you’re looking for an item we don’t currently have, you can submit a request for the library to consider adding it to the collection. “Request to Consider an Item for Purchase” forms are available at the library’s circulation desk.

When reviewing requests, the library considers several factors, including the publication date, cost, and the item’s popularity. Generally, the library purchases items published within the past five years, although exceptions may be made at the Director’s discretion. We can also borrow some items from other library systems through the interlibrary loan program.
