The library offers public access computers, equipped with current programs and internet access available to everyone. In 2025 we upgraded six of the public computers to include larger monitors and large type keyboards. They are also equipped with links to resources for education and career development. There is no fee to use the computers, just pick up a password at the front desk. Print outs are available in color or black & white for a fee.
We are pleased to be able to provide computers for your use. However, please be aware that the library computers are for the use of all ages and will be monitored to insure that computer use is consistent with McCreary Public Library policy. The library’s computers and internet access may not be used to:
- Violate the law
- Send, receive, or display text or graphics that may reasonably be construed as inappropriate or obscene
- Harm or compromise the safety, security, privacy or property of others
- Seek unauthorized access to any computer system
- Alter or damage software components of any network, host server, or database
- Install software of any kind or download plug-ins
As part of the log-in process, customers agree to abide by these policies and understand that failure to do so will result in the loss of computer and internet privileges.
Wi-fi is available at the library 24 hours a day. Patrons and visitors can connect to the library’s wi-fi on their own devices for no fee. Wi-fi can be accessed in the library parking lot after hours.
