The Library is all about Kids!

At MCPL we are dedicated to instilling a love of books and reading into children, and doing all we can to make learning a fun experience. The Children's Library features a large selection of children's books from colorful board books for toddlers up to novels for young adults. We also offer a variety of programs and services for our youngest readers!

Be sure to keep up with everything happening for Kids at the library by visiting our Facebook page or picking up a copy of our Monthly Activities calendar at the Library.

What: The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless!

Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler.

The goal is to have 1,000 books (yes, you can repeat books)

before your precious little one starts kindergarten.

Does it sound hard? Not really...if you think about it.

If you read just 1 book a night, you will have read about 365 books in a year.
