The Library is all about Kids!
At MCPL we are dedicated to instilling a love of books and reading into children, and doing all we can to make learning a fun experience. The Children's Library features a large selection of children's books from colorful board books for toddlers up to novels for young adults. We also offer a variety of programs and services for our youngest readers!

 Kids! Computers
Along with computers for adults the Library also offers computers with programs geared especially to children, with no internet access to provide a safe environment for play.
 ELF™ Child-Safe Browser
The ELF™ Child-Safe Browser allows children to safely explore carefully chosen, highly engaging free-use educational resources on the internet. Children may work either with adults or on their own. With ELF™, parents and teachers can know that the child is visiting only sites that are wholesome, educational, and fun.
This is ALWAYS accomplished because ELF™ checks every piece of content before it is displayed to ensure that the material is coming from a supplier and site that have been specifically approved by your library and/or by AWE.
